Muthafunk are a Birmingham based 6-piece Funk/soul band who are bringing back the Halcyon days of 70's/80's soul with a nod to the nu school.
With their full live band & sweet 3-part harmonies, their sound has influences from acts such as EWF, Brand New Heavies & Incognito.
As well as playing their own original tunes, one of which "True Love" was released on Soul unsigned's 2009 compilation album "Vol2", they also perform some classic covers from the likes of Stevie Wonder, Jocelyn Brown, Chaka Khan & Marvin Gaye.
With Soul Diva Lorraine "Foxy" Thompson on lead vocals you'd better believe these guys can lay down the Funk!
